Director of Langham Preaching, Jonathan works with Chris Wright and John Stott for Langham Partnership International, seeking to encourage pastors and lay leaders around the world in the
development of preaching and teaching ministries.
Jonathan is regularly involved in speaking in churches and conferences in the UK, Europe and elsewhere in the world. He serves on a range of boards and advisory committees engaged in mission, including the East European Literature Advisory Committee, the Philip Project, Scripture Union and UCCF. He has also recently served as Chairman of the Keswick Convention in the UK, and continues to serve on the Keswick Council as well as speaking at various Conventions around the world. He has also served as chair of Spring Harvest Word Alive in the UK.

He is the author of several books, including Tough Minds, Tender Hearts (IVP), on the place of truth and love in the Christian life; the Crossway Bible Guide on 2 Corinthians; Making Progress in Church Life (Paternoster/Partnership); ‘Faith in the Face of Danger’, Authentic/Paternoster, based on expositions of the book of Nehemiah; and previous titles on Guidance, Worship, and on Student Life. His most recent publication is ‘Integrity: leading with God watching’ (IVP), looking at aspects of Christian ministry and leadership from Paul’s writing to the Corinthians. He is about to publish ‘From Why to Worship’
